Danielle got to choose between being a pirate or Tinkerbell this year, and she chose pirate, yay! I had all the fabrics already in my stash, so I made her outfit using the same pattern that I used to maker her cowgirl costume last year (and scrubs and chef outfits for Morgan & Taylor to use for dress-up).
Samuel got a coordinating pirate onesie and striped pants, and his Mimi put a bandana on his head because it was so cold on Halloween. It made him look like a little gangster.
I made a shirt that said "My children are my treasure" but no one could see it because it was a black shirt in the dark. Smart Angie, real smart...
Danielle kept asking about cake--I think she thinks every holiday gets cake, since her birthday is close to Easter and Ryan's is on Christmas! Next year I am going to make her some Halloween cake! She caught on to the idea of getting candy real quick and everyone gave her extra because she was adorable. Every time she was prompted at a door with "What do you say?" she would reply "Thank you!" instead of "trick or treat"--it was so cute!
Samuel spent his Halloween sleeping. Which is good, because we went pretty far and it was pretty cold and I was a bad mama and forgot a blanket. Though the kids had lots of layers and extra clothes on.
