Danielle Catherine Ray

Danielle Catherine Ray was born on Monday, April 27 at 10:23 pm!! She was 7 lbs, 6 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. She came out screaming but has been a very sweet baby ever since. The whole process, from the start of my water breaking to the the delivery, took just under 8 hours. I would love to say it wasn't bad, but honestly, it hurt like crazy until I finally got my epidural! I yelled at the anesthesiologist a little for being so slow when he finally came in during a very painful contraction, but I apologized after the contraction was over :) His work ended up being very good, and the rest of the labor was pretty painless, although tiring. We got back home a little bit ago and are happy to be out of the hospital. Grandma Dulaney (MeeMaw) is staying for a few days to help out.

Successful Move!

Ryan and I made it down to SC successfully! Danielle decided to hold off on being born for now. Ryan's dad Terry made the drive down with us so we would have an extra driver, just in case.
Our apartment is huge, although we realized that apartment living is a bit different from having our own house. I'm really happy with the place, though, and we've already started to make friends with two other couples (one is our upstairs neighbors).
We're about to go for a walk, we're trying to help baby girl show up while Ryan has lots of leave still. I have a recent picture of my big ol' belly that I will post once I get my computer set up (somehow, Ryan already has his hooked up to the big screen tv...hmm...:)

Edit: Here's the picture of me a little after the move (right before the baby)

Here are two pictures of our beautiful baby girl at 30 weeks. She looks like her Daddy! We have decided to name her Danielle Catherine.
