Danielle's Chair

I've gotten a little behind and didn't realize it--I thought I just didn't have any new pictures to post.
Here are some of Danielle in her chair which my mom and I found at a garage sale. When she first started sitting in it, she would whine for someone to bring her stuff because she either couldn't get down or was too lazy :) Now she pops in and out of it pretty easily. She loves having her own chair!

Birthday Party

We had Danielle's First Birthday party yesterday and it was fun, if a bit of a blur. Our friends Sarah and Darrell Green came down late Thursday with their son Benjamin. They were a huge help in getting everything ready, as I planned for the party when I was not preggo and exhausted. We ended up scaling down some plans (like for the decorations) and scaling up some ideas, like the birthday cake. We had friends over at 3:30 for burgers and dogs on the grill, followed by cake and presents. Everyone left by about 6 which was perfect for cleaning up and winding down for the evening. Danielle got off to a slow start on the cake, but she managed to eat most of a flower. Some of it ended up in her ear:) She also had hot dogs for the first time yesterday, and Cheetos. I'd say she enjoyed it all :)
