Better Eating

Tonight Ryan fed Danielle and she hardly got any on her bib or on her face! She actually ate it! She still tries to attack the spoon though. She's our little muncher :)

Danielle turned 4 months yesterday. She weighs just shy of 13 pounds and is about 25 inches long right now. She got some vaccines, which weren't as bad as I thought they would be since Daddy had his first day of teaching and couldn't come. I teared up, but didn't cry :) She handled them better than I did I think! The doctor also said she could start learning to eat baby food, so Ryan gave her rice cereal for the first time last night. Here's a series of pictures, in order, of her eating. She pushes most of it out, but I think only because she doesn't know how to use her tongue. She was definitely eager to try to eat more!

Rolling over!

Danielle can roll onto her tummy now. She started two days ago. She definitely does it on purpose! She's also been talking up a storm. My favorite new development though, has got to be her laugh. Her laugh before was like a squeal of delight, now she's added an actual "heh-heh-heh" to her list of noises. Being a mom has got to be the most amazing thing ever. I am absolutely fascinated by her :) Here are some pictures from the past week or so, including a before and after from rolling over.
