Easter 2011

Some pictures from last weekend (when we tried to go to an egg hunt but it was too late in the day for Danielle's nap so we went and ate BBQ instead), and this weekend, when we colored eggs (Saturday) and had a little egg hunt (Easter Sunday). Hmm, just realized we didn't get any pictures of the grown-ups all dressed up. Oops. Danielle's much cuter than we are anyways :)

Danielle's cast

In case I haven't filled you in on the story...
Danielle is currently wearing a cast for two more weeks. She started limping about 3 weeks ago, after stumbling as we were walking in to the church nursery. I took her to the doctor, who tried a few days of ibuprofen, then ran some blood tests and xrayed her hips when the limping continued. Danielle had no redness, swelling, bruising, no symptoms other than limping.
She ended up falling again and scraping her right knee about a week later. The next day she woke up during her nap, crying in pain from her scrape, which was not deep and was already scabbed over. Long story short, we got a referral to an pediatric orthopedist and he ended up putting a cast on her. Her leg had been xrayed previously and they couldn't be certain if they were seeing a fracture or normal variations. He determined that she had a hairline fracture below her right knee.
She can walk in the cast but we are not going to the playground or doing water play (or immersion baths) until the cast is off. She's been pretty good about being cooped up more than normal, and you wouldn't know to look at her that she has anything wrong.

Random pictures, much like our days

Danielle "helping" me get the nursery ready. I was trying to take pictures of clothes a friend loaned us, but someone has learned "cheese" and likes to have her picture taken now apparently:

Ryan took some pictures of my biggo preggo belly, and Danielle decided she wanted her picture taken too (notice a theme?):

Playing with stickers. I don't care if they get all over--they keep her busy longer than anything. I may buy stock in some sticker companies:

Danielle helping her daddy fix his motorcyle. She's been a great helper around the house lately!:
